The truck was purchased shortly after HM-10 was transferred, along with two men on each platoon, from Station 11 to Station 19. A generator was put on the front of the trailer in order to add power to the trailer. The trailer only responds to hazmat related calls. Two men ride in the truck(an operator and an officer). The side of the trailer reads Jefferson Parish Fire Department Hazardous Materials Response. The trailer is air conditioned. Two trailers were purchased by Jefferson Parish-one for the East bank Consolidated Fire Department and one for the westbank. HM-10 is currently disbanded.
