Delivered in April 2006 the department's new Ferrara Inferno rescue/hazmat unit replaces the 1992 Pierce Lance.  The new apparatus is strikingly similar in appearance inside of the cab to the ladder trucks (headsets, interior cabinets, roll out captain's tray, etc.) which were delivered at the end of 2005; however, one foot was added to the length of the rescue's cab to provide for increased leg room in the rear.  Additional improvements include: extra hose lines for extrication tools on the front bumper; a larger amount of storage space (including roof compartments); better lighting capabilities; trailer hitches on the front, rear and side of the apparatus; and chevron striping on the doors and rear of the truck for improved safety.  It is listed as Ferrara Job #H-3187.
