2008 Ferrara Inferno 65' Snozzle
The year 2008 marked the first time that an extended water pipe had been used in the department since the late 1980's. Instead of using a Sqrt (as in the 80's), the department invested in a 2008 65' Ferrara Inferno Snozzle. The unit has a Waterous CSU 1750 GPM Single Stage Pump with a 500 gallon tank, a Cummins ISM 400 HP Engine, an Allison 3000 EV Automatic Transmission, and seats six firefighters. It is listed as Ferrara Job Number H-3752 and went into service as Engine 148.
