On August 14th,2000, firefighters responded to reports of a house fire. Upon arrival, it was determined that it was fully involved. Crews quickly knocked the fire down, and only one firefighter was injured (he was treated at the scene). According to the Jefferson Parish Fire Department, the situation was worsened by the fact that the tiles were flammable, and both the front door and the back door were left open. This fueled the fire. The pictures of the aftermath of the fire are at the bottom of this page. All pictures(except the last 2) were taken by fire investigator Dennis Guidry. Thank you.
