The mid-afternoon calm was interrupted on 1/17 when firefighters responded to Louis St. amid cell phone reports that a house was on fire at the corner of S. Causeway Blvd. and Jefferson Highway.  Units found smoke pouring from a one story brick house.  After an aggressive interior attack, the fire was placed under control.
