The Jefferson Parish Fire Department Administration Division is responsible for overseeing the human resource, the policy creation/implementation, and the financial aspects of the department.  This division contains: the Director, the Assistant Director, the Safety Officer, and the Fire Education Officer.  Numerous Records Clerks, Typists, and Secretaries (which make up the administrative staff) are also in this division and are charged with helping to carry out the division's tasks.  This division coordinates efforts between the department and the media when they arise via the Fire Education Officer.  It is located at Headquarters at 1221 Elmwood Park Blvd. #704, Harahan, LA 70123 .
