At approximately 10:00pm firefighters were dispatched to a reported fire at the Piggly Wiggly Store on Airline Highway in Airline Park shopping center. Station 13 reported light smoke showing upon arrival. Ladder 137 set up at the roof to check for the source of the light smoke. The squad was eventually dispatched along with the safety officer, and the public information officer. Crews from 168 went around back to make an interior attack, while crews from engine 138 made an interior attack at the front of the building. The fire is believed to be electrically related.
