6/16/04: Overturned Semi@ Jefferson Highway and Clearview
At approximately 2:30pm firefighters were dispatched to an overturned tank truck carrying liquid sulfur at Jefferson Highway and Clearview Parkway. Engine 198 determined that everyone was out of the truck. First, a rehab area and perimeter were established. Finally, A team composed of members from the JPFD, Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, and the Louisiana State Police Hazmat Team supervised the cleanup and removal of the truck and its contents.
