On Tuesday September 26,2000 around 11:30am, firefighters responded to a fire on a barge that was under construction. Upon arrival units saw smoke showing. Squad 159 was dispatched at that time. The whole operation (extinguishing the fire, salvage,etc.) lasted until approximately 2:30pm. These photos were taken by the Department's Public Information Officer George Rigamer. Thank you.
