4/4/02: Cement Mixer Accident on Simone Gardens Drive
Around 12:30pm firefighters were dispatched to reported flipped Cement Mixer on Simone Gardens Drive. Squad 159 was canceled, but HM-10 was dispatched to the scene. Engine 188 encountered ankle deep water with mud and diesel mixed in the water on the street. A truck that mixes concrete on site hit soft mud,sank, and broke a water main. Two wreckers were used to recover the truck out of the hole.
